ABOUT YOUR CAPTAIN

Captain Jim Moon is a very experienced fishermen, he has been fishing the Ausable/Oscoda area for the past 32 years. Where he has been a Charter Boat Captain for 20 years. Captain Jim Moon served in the Vietnam War, also, is retired from the Airforce as a Major with over 8000 flying hours. Captain Jim Moon also retired from the U.S. Forest Service after 17 years of service as a Forester. Currently, he is still on call for duty as a Forest Fire Patrol Aircraft Pilot. Captain Jim Moon is CPR certified and FIRST AID trained. His boat is Inspected and Licensed by the State of Michigan. Captain Jim Moon is licensed by the US Coast Guard.
